If you hear B & B, what comes to your mind?
“Bed and Breakfast”? Probably.

“Beauty and the Beast” and “Bag and Baggages”, if you are thinking about your next trip to Broadway in NYC.

For me, B&B stands for “Beans and Beetles”. Both are like gemstones in nature. So, I put them together and place them as if these are real gemstones in a collection box. Beans and beetles are a little more durable compare to flowers and leaves, but time will take a toll on its appearance little by little. I always think that to portray nature is not to paint only the subject but “time” to preserve the momentary beauty. My beans and beetles frozen on paper can be more precious than a gemstone will be.
