Possible art works
I divided my available works into three groups and a slide video. It would be great to show those artworks along side of the butterfly installation. It is not easy to say before seeing the actual space… and also depending the frames/showcases size and availabilities. But I wanted to share my available works and what I have in my mind.
1. Turezure no kusa
There are 18 (plus 1 ongoing) with me here in Japan and 8-9 pieces in Germany.

All the artworks on the page are available for the show in 2025/2026. For total, there would be around 30 of 41×41 (35 x 35 window) sized artworks. These are random subjects as the title says… Probably, my suggestion is to select about 20 from them for the show.
2. Vegetables, fruit, and tomato
Vegetable table : I have several vegetable (maybe some fruit included…) paintings in the same/similar size and can be grouped in the same category (fruit on a tree / root vegetables, etc…)
Tomato table : There are several tomato paintings. Those can be a bit more random group of artworks (since most of them are sold and I do not have with me, but I can work on the summer to form the composition of the installation…, if the space allowed, my tomato book can be there on the bottom of the showcase….
3. Piece of nature
There are more than 40 (possibly more) pieces of these small works (on vellum). My plan is to show them as if these are “insect specimen” or “plant specimen” in one of your show case. If it is possible, I wish to have several actual insect and plant specimen with them in the case…
4. Projector
Since I start posting my work on instagram, taking photo of my subject and finished work side by side. At the beginning, it was because often I received a comment like, ” Easy for you to just copy it from a photo..” kind comment. I have nothing against using photographs for artistic process, but even though realistic expression doesn’t mean just copying. Nowadays, it is not a problem for me – if someone think that way when the parson sees my work – it is my fault my work didn’t have enough power to tell them more…
However, over the course of taking photos of two very similar but fundamentally different figures, I start growing the attachment feelings for the moment. So, it is really nice having all those memorable moments along side with paintings.
I am not sure how many images I have.. but this will like a slide show. There would be enough images to fill the short video… I guess. I do not think it is a good idea to have it on a big screen, or center of the show….but it will be a nice plus to me.
5. Butterfly installation
I have to see the place first, but my idea is to create many, many paper butterflies and have them with fishing thread from the ceiling. The butterflies should be the species found in Singapore.
